Requirements and Entries

Requirements decide who may enter a giveaway and how many entries they get. Set them on the dashboard when creating or editing a giveaway. Requirements are re-checked at draw time, so a winner who no longer qualifies is skipped.

Free requirements#

Requirement	What it does
Required roles	Members must hold these to enter. Choose match all or any.
Blacklist roles	Members holding any of these can never enter.

Premium requirements#

Requirement	What it does
Bypass roles	Members with these skip every other requirement.
Bonus (weighted) entries	Give extra entries to members who hold certain roles, so boosters or loyal members have better odds.
Minimum account age	Require Discord accounts older than N days, to cut down on throwaways.
Minimum server age	Require members to have been in your server for N days.

How entry works#

Members click the 🎉 button once to enter and get a quiet (ephemeral) confirmation showing the current entry count. The confirmation includes a Leave button so they can withdraw. Each member counts once; bonus entries raise their weight in the draw without showing as duplicate entries.

Winner notifications#

When the giveaway ends, winners are announced in the channel (the message is edited to show them and they're pinged in a reply). Winners are also DMed by default, which you can turn off per giveaway.
