Permissions
What Zira needs from your server to work, and how to grant it.
Zira needs the following permissions on your server to operate properly. The invite link grants all of these by default.
Required Permissions#
| Permission | How it is used |

| Manage Roles | For adding reaction roles and creating color roles |
| Read Messages | Used for the edit commands |
| Send Messages | To send command responses, logs, and create setup messages |
| Manage Messages | To remove user emojis from setup messages |
| Embed Links | To send embed responses and post messages from the embed builder |
| Read Message History | Used for the message set commands |
| Add Reactions | For reaction roles |
| Use External Emojis | For custom emoji reaction roles |
Additional Permissions#
These permissions are not granted by default. Add them to Zira's role only if you plan to use the features that need them.

| Manage Channels | To create and delete the room and waiting channels for private rooms |
| Move Members | To move members into their private rooms |
Command Permissions#
Because Zira uses slash commands, you can edit individual command permissions in Server Settings → Integrations → Zira. From there you can choose which roles and channels each command works in.
Configuration Role#
You can also set a server-wide config role. Anyone with that role can use any Zira command, regardless of Discord's per-command integration settings.
/config role set <Role>
Be careful which role you pick. Granting this permission to untrusted members lets them bypass your normal permission setup for any Zira command.
To clear the config role and return command access to Discord's default integration settings:
/config role disable
Server owners and members with Administrator can always use Zira commands, regardless of any config role.
